When a home sells the proceeds flow directly into the vault and are distributed immediately to token holders. The buyer can pay in cash, through their own bank mortgage, or through Cherry Communities monthly payment terms. Regardless of payment method the sale proceeds enter the vault the moment the transaction completes. This is the first stream to activate in any development — before a single resident even moves in.
For buyers on Cherry Communities payment terms the monthly mortgage payment runs for 25 years. Legally enforceable. Asset-backed by the property. If a resident defaults Cherry Communities retains ownership and can re-sell or re-let. After 25 years the mortgage ends but the energy and compute streams continue permanently.
Every Cherry Communities home is built with rooftop solar and geothermal as standard factory-stage specification. Surplus electricity is sold to the national grid automatically every month. Kosovo confirmed at 1,350 kWh per kWp annually. Texas confirmed at 5.4 peak sun hours per day. Cherry Communities permanently owns the solar infrastructure. This stream continues after the mortgage ends.
The tech partner deploys GPU hardware at their own cost of USD 183,000 to USD 197,000 per node. They earn 90% of gross compute revenue. Cherry Communities earns 10% permanently at zero additional capital cost to vault holders. As the tech partner upgrades hardware every 3 to 5 years to stay competitive in AI compute the revenue per node increases. Vault holders earn from every upgrade without spending anything. In April 2026 Nvidia confirmed this model by launching XFRA in Whisper Valley — the same development where Cherry Communities is already building.
